What to expect
Mount Toubkal (4,167m) is the highest peak in North Africa and the centrepiece of the High Atlas. Our guided ascents range from express two-day climbs to full eight-day trekking circuits through Berber villages, high refuges and breathtaking ridge walks — with the summit reward being a 360° panorama that, on a clear morning, reaches all the way to the edge of the Sahara.
All ascents depart from Imlil (1,740m) — our home — and are led by certified mountain guides from the Azdour family, who know every switchback of the route. No technical climbing is required, but good fitness is essential, along with the willingness to leave the refuge in the dark for a sunrise summit.
