Trekking High Atlas of Marrakech

Day  1 : Marrakech – Ouirgane valley

Transfer from Marrakech 50 km to the Ouirgane valley at 1200m then start the walk to Assiff zagzawn. After lunch we will cross the forest of Takharkhourte with green chain trees and types of juniper. Overnight in a local house in assif zagzawn. 4h30 walk.

Day 2 : Ouirgane valley – Tizgui

We start from the valley of Assif Zagzawn towards the valley of Tizgui Tkant 2200m; today is shorter than the first day. The level of walking is easy. Lunch either before the village of Tizgui in the middle of nature or at the Gîte. If this is the case, we will take advantage of the visit of the village in the afternoon and drink tea with the locals. 3.30 hours walk.

Day 3 : Tizgui – tizi oussem

we leave Tizgui in the morning through groves of walnut trees, fields of corn and barley to greet the many sheep and small shepherds – and We cross the Tizi N’tagdalte 2850m and descend among the junipers to us we arrive at a small spring located among the trees, where we will stop for our picnic lunch. Once refreshed, and then continue towards the valley of azzaden. Night at the Gite in tizi oussem. 1800m

Day 4 : tizi oussem – Imlil valley

Today, we leave the village of Tizi Oussem to climb to the ighouliden waterfalls, the most beautiful waterfall in this valley, and then take a path that leads to the valley of Imlil at the foot of Mount Toubkal. Then we join our transfer back to Marrakech. 5 hours walk.
