Tour overview

This program makes you to discover many parts of Morocco. First you will climb the highest peak in North Africa, and then we will pick you up to Dades and Todra Gourges.

1st day : Arrival

Arrival at Marrakech and transfer to the hotel.

2nd day : Marrakech- Imlil

After having Breakfast in the hotel, we will go to Imlil. We will have lunch in a local guest house where we will spend the night and then we walk around the Valley of Imlil to visit the surrounding villages like Acheim- Aremd- Tagardit – Aït Souka and go back to the guest house (3 hours). We will finish approximately at 18.00.

3rd day : Imlil- Refuge of Toubkal (3207m)

After having breakfast we will leave Imlil (1740 m) towards Aremd (1900 m). The path goes by the deep valley and passes near the Muslim shrine Sidi Chamharouch (2280m). We will have lunch on the way. Continuing the river we will go up to the refuge of Toubkal (3207m) where we shall have dinner and sleeping in tents. There is also the option of having dinner and sleep in the refuge in case of bad weather or the clients want to.

4th day : Toubkal (4167m)–Imlil

After having an early breakfast we will set off walking up slowly to the Peak of Toubkal Mountain (4167m) from where you will have wonderful views over the Atlas Range and the Sahara Desert, and then we will trek down and we will have lunch in the tent and carry on our way to Imlil. Dinner is served in a local house.

5th day : Imlil- Gorges of Dades

We will leave Imlil at 7.30 by car. We will pass by many towns includes Asni, Tahanouate, Tnine-of Ourika and Ait-Ourir. We will have lunch before we get to Ouarzazate city. Approximately at 14.30 we will continue our route to arrive at Dades town at 17.00 and after leaving our belongings we will have a walk. We spend the night in the hotel.

6th day : Gorges of Dadés-Tizin Tichka

We will meet at 9.00 and drive the 27 km towards Boumalne. Here the tourists will have the opportunity to have a view of the curious and spectacular rocks in their special shapes. We will visit also the Kashba Telouet and later on we will go to Tizin’ Tichka to spend the night.
