The Valley of Roses

This beautiful valley, named for its geographical location south of the Central High Atlas and fed by the M’Goun River, is adorned with plots of land filled with Damask roses, making it a true marvel. Join us on this journey, and you won’t be disappointed.

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Arrival at Marrakech Airport, welcome, and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Marrakech – Ait Youl (Dades Valley)

Depart from Marrakech, crossing the Tichka Pass (2260m). Lunch, then continue to the Skoura palm grove and the Valley of Roses, ending the day at Ait Youl village in the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight stay at the guesthouse.

Day 3: Ait Youl – Boutaghrar

Hike to discover nomads and Bedouins living in caves. Bivouac near the M’Goun River. (5 hours hike, Ascent: 200m, Descent: 200m)

Day 4: Boutaghrar – Agerzega

Hike through villages, fields, and the Aguerzaka gorges. Bivouac in Agerzega. (6 hours hike, Ascent: 250m)

Day 5: Agerzega – Almdoun

Cross a small pass to the Ait Ahmed valley. Bivouac in Almdoun. (5 hours hike, Ascent: 300m, Descent: 250m)

Day 6: Almdoun – Timstiguit

Pass through the Agouti gorges and typical villages. Descend to Timstiguit. Bivouac. (4 hours hike, Ascent: 200m, Descent: 350m)

Day 7: Timstiguit – Marrakech

Return transfer to Marrakech via Ouarzazate and the Tichka Pass. Lunch en route, arrival at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Departure

Transfer to the airport, assistance with departure formalities.
