Day 1 : Marrakech Airport - Okaïmden 2h.

Once you arrived at Marrakech Menara Airport, you'll meet one of our tour guides and one of our drivers. Then you'll have a 2-hours drive to reach Okaïmden, one of the premier skiing resorts in Africa, where we can meet the rest of our team (muleteers and carriers).

We will spend in the Refuge.

Day 2 : Okaïmden - Tachdirt. 3h.

A warm-up day, after having our breakfast, we will go skiing that morning in Okaïmden. The skiing area is situated between the elevation of 2600 and 3200m. It has a couple of lifts. After lunch, we'll have a 3 hours walk towards the Amazigh village of Tachdirt at an elevation of 2600m, where we'll spend two nights. All that you have to carry is your backpack; the skis will be carried by the mules.

We will have the night in a traditional guest house.

Day 3 : Tachdirt - Bouyguenouane - Tachdirt

An early morning starts to climb up to Bouyguenouane summit at 3800m. It takes around 4 to 5 hours. All the sufferance will be gone once you reach the top and enjoy the beautiful view from there. Then we are skiing along the way down to Tachdirt village.

Overnight in a traditional guest house.

Day 4 : Tachdirt - Tizi N Likemt - imlil

Getting up around 6 o'clock and after arranging your things, we'll start the way up to Tizi N Likemt at 3555m. You'll be surprised by how amazing this place is.  After skiing down we will have our lunch, and be transferred to Imlil (1745m) by local transportation.  Imlil is the capital of Mountain Tourism in the country, and from where you can climb Toubkal the highest peak in North Africa.

We will spend the night in the guest house.

Day 5 : Imlil - Toubkal Refuge 3207m

After having breakfast, we'll start the way up to the Refuge at around 8:30 (5h walk). After a 2h walk, we'll reach a very small Berber village called Shamharouch surrounded by mountains and big rocks. There are many shops on the way up where can you buy bottles of water and snacks. After having our lunch on the way we'll put on our skis starting from the snow level up to the Refuge.

We will spend the night in the Refuge.

Day 6 : Toubkal Refuge - Akioud - Toubkal Refuge.

Breakfast time will be before sunrise. Then put on our skis and starting the way up to Akioud summit at 4000. 4 to 5 hours walk.  An amazing view from there through Toubkal and all other surrounding peaks. Skiing all the way down to the refuge.

We will spend the night in the Refuge.

Day 7 : Refuge - Toubkal - imlil.

Summit day is the longest day of our trip. Early morning start is needed. The first part on the way up is the steepest part. Our guide will guide you on the safest way thanks to his long experience in the area. Once you reach the top you're on the roof of North Africa, you'll enjoy the amazing view from there through the Sahara desert and surrounding peaks. After living this unforgettable moment we'll leave the summit and skiing all the long way down to the Refuge. We will have lunch in the Refuge or on the way down to Imlil.

Day 8 : Imlil - Marrakech Airport.

Transfer back to the airport.
