MOUNTAIN & DESERT TRIP
With this wonderful program you will enjoy your holiday, because we’ll take you to discover Moroccan desert and mountains at the same time.
1st day :
Arriving at the airport in Marrakech. Transferral to hotel and you will have free time during the day. Dinner is served early in the hotel.
2nd day :
After having breakfast in the hotel, we will go towards Ouarzazate by car. There are more than 180 kilometers from Marrakech to Ouarzazate, and the way goes by the High Atlas with a mountain port which is almost 2600 high and it called T’Zin Tichka.We will pass through the Valley of the Ounila River, and we will visit the most famous Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou. Lunch is served in Ouarzazate. We will also visit the Taourit Kasbah. In the afternoon we will visit some of the most beautiful Kasbahs in Shoura. Arriving at the Gorges of Dades, then we will have dinner in the hotel.
3rd day :
After breakfast we will continue with the route of the Kasbahs till we reach the town called Tinerhir where we will get in to the Gorges of Dades. The walls are really impressive; with more than 200 meters long. We will continue to east till the Saharan dunes. After we reach Rissani, the capital of Tafilalet, we will be at the doors of the desert and we have Lunch on the way, so we will have enough time to see the sunset and arrive at Erg Chebbi (dunes in Merzouga), you find dunes with a length of more than 300 meters. We will have dinner and sleep in a comfortable hotel in Merzouga. There is also the option of sleeping in the dunes of the desert in a traditional Khaima (Tent).
4th day :
In the morning we will enjoy the marvelous sunrise. After having breakfast and following the Anti Atlas from the south, we will arrive at N’Kob and go on in order to reach the Valley of Draa. Lunch in along the way. We will cross the Anti Atlas from the south in T’zin Tiniffifft (1600 m). We will have dinner in the hotel in Ouarzazate city.
5th day :
After having breakfast, we will depart towards Imlil. We are leaving Marrakech behind. Arrive at Imlil passing through Asni. Imlil is one of the most important towns in the valley of Aït Mizane (This name corresponds to the Berber tribe living there); Imlil is also the last town where one can go by transport to get later on the Toubkal Mountain. In the afternoon we will visit the different villages in the valley. We shall have dinner in local houses.
6th day :
After having breakfast we will go back to Marrakech where you will have free time to explore the city. We will have dinner in the hotel in Marrakech city.
7th day :
After having breakfast we will move to the airport.
