Exciting and out of the ordinary overnight trek in Azzaden Valley at the heart of the Berber Ait Ouazzaden tribe.

Day 1 : – Imlil/High Atlas Mountains – Tizi Mazik – Tamsoulte

WaterfallsTizi Oussem Village After breakfast in Marrakech, pick up & drive to the High Atlas Mountains through Tahnnaout, Oued Ghighaya and Asni; enjoy the stunning vista of the villages along the valleys. Then, you will arrive to Imlil village (65km away from Marrakech), meet up the guide and muleteer for your trip and then get going the trek and climb to the Tizi Mzik pass (2684m), enjoy a spectacular view over Imlil valley and gaze up to the Toubkal Summit, continue to Tamsoulte to visit the highest waterfalls in the Atlas Mountains (100m), and continue down to Azzaden valley through a picturesque juniper forest to get to Tizi Oussem village. You’ll relax overnight at the guesthouse in the village.

Day 2 : Tizi Oussem – Id Issa Village – Tizi Oudid – Mattat

After breakfast, take pleasure in sunrise in this rich and gaudy valley and its superb typical Berber villages, leave Tizi Oussem and continue down to Id Issa village before heading up to the Tizi Oudid mountain pass (2000m), cross Matat village after passing by a wild juniper forest and enjoy lunch under walnut groves, while relaxing near the river. In the afternoon route back to Marrakech.
